When Lily was born, I decided to make her an elaborate scrapbook journaling her first year of life. I went to classes and cropping sessions and really made a nice book, if I do say so myself! LOL! Then came Aubrie. My life was now jam-packed and I no longer have time to sit down and spend hours putting together a nice book for her. I have had some major Mommy guilty moments about this and I have been searching for an easier way to make a keepsake she will treasure forever.
When I was contacted about Kidmondo, I was eager to take a look and see if this was the solution! Kidmondo is a FREE (does it get better than that?!?) service which gives busy parents a way to record their child’s first smile, first step and their everyday adventures in a secure online journal. I feel like I spend a good part of my day online anyway, so Kidmondo seems like a great idea! In addition, users not only record milestones and upload images, but also keep track of medical records and store other pertinent information on their child.
This program has special sections for journalling, dental records, doctor appointments, growth charts, pictures, videos and an interactive timeline. I also love the fact that you can share all or parts of your online book with friends and family….it’s your choice how much you share!
Another great feature is that you can turn your online journal into a beautifully printed baby book to pass along to your child or give as gifts. The soft cover books are priced at $28 and laminated hard cover books are only $38! Each book includes 20 pages of memories and additional pages can be bought for $0.50 each.
Are you seriously behind on your baby books? Get caught up with Kidmondo! They are generously offering one lucky reader a free Kidbook!

I love how organized it is – I’ve been trying to start a baby book for my newborn on a couple of websites and it’s difficult to be creative and to think on my own of what should be included when I’m still going through life in a fog…

I like the Growth Charts. It would make things easier with my son’s health issues.
I like that whatever you put up there is not public and cannot be made public! There are plenty of sites where you can make your private life public, I am glad they haven’t gone that way.
