I NEED A VACATION!!!
I think everyone needs a break from the daily grind, a break from their daily routine and ordinary life. I dream about taking the girls to Disney World, or spending an adult vacation in Paris, but it’s just not in the cards for us this year. Because I have two small children, I hoard my vacation days to use in case of an emergency, and let’s face it, trips are expensive!
But, part of me (OK, all of me) wants to throw caution to the wind and spend a little money on a family vacation. HomeAway Vacation Rentals, the world’s leading vacation rental marketplace, wants to help us Save Our Summer Vacation!
Today’s economy shouldn’t challenge your right to take a summer vacation! HomeAway can help you:
- Recharge and reconnect with family and friends
- Take a break from stress
- Have enough space to truly relax
- Travel in style without breaking your budget
Right now, you can join the HomeAway “Save Our Summer Vacation” movement by petitioning Congress to declare August 7th the official “National Vacation Day”! Click here to join the movement!
HomeAway is also hosting a contest to win a $10,000 summer vacation! Submit a text entry, a photo essay or a video explaining why you deserve to win the $10,000 getaway complete with a stay in a HomeAway vacation rental. If your story doesn’t top the list, don’t worry: two runners-up will each receive a $5,000 trip! The deadline to enter is July 2, 2009 so get your stories in quick!
I’m with you, sister!
I’m not a mommy (I’m a daddy), but I need a vacation (so does a mommy). Though we have a problem: we are used to having a hectic live and doesn’t seem that anything is going to change soon. Next year will be having a first vacation as a family :). I’m both excited and worried. How to handle a child and relax? Is this a myth or some people actually do this?
