Kleenex Tissues and $50 Visa Gift Card: Giveaway

As I sit here writing this post, I am actually battling some sort of bug.  Fever, chills, and a sore throat are no picnic when you are trying to take care of your family.  Kleenex is trying to help Mom’s keep their families healthy with their new anti-viral tissues.  About Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissues:

kleenex

When you battle cold and flu bugs, you now have another weapon: Kleenex® Anti-Viral* Tissues. They look and feel like the tissues you know and love. They’re soft to the touch, even for young children, and they are also fragrance free. But what’s lurking underneath is anything but good news for cold and flu bugs. You see, the middle ply is treated with citric acid and sodium lauryl sulfate (a common ingredient found in popular hand soaps) and when those two come in contact with moisture, it’s goodbye to cold and flu bugs in the tissue (in about 15 minutes).

Kleenex has set up a fun little website to help you learn how to “Battle the Bug!”  Check out this video!

  1. Throw tissues away immediately after each use.
72% of moms surveyed feel cleaning up piles of facial tissues in the house when a family member is sick has contributed to their cold or flu.
57% of moms feel that placing a child’s used tissue in their pocket on the go has contributed to the spread of the bug.

  2. I battle the bug in our home by having everyone wash their hands frequently. Also since the H1N1 scare, I keep bottles of hand sanitizer located all over the house. We of course keep Kleenex anti-viral tissues around at all times too – what a great idea this is!
