Sweatshirt Blanket: Review and Giveaway

hypothesis The Sweatshirt Blanket will be a great way to promote my new blog network, Double Duty Divas, and keep me  warm and snuggly while watching softball games or just watching my favorite movie on the sofa with my girls!

materials

Four black sweatshirt blankets with the Double Duty Divas logo in white, my two daughters, a chilly night and our weekly Friday night “movie night!”  About Sweatshirt Blanket:

results On a recent bloggy trip, I was fortunate enough to meet an amazing Dad Blogger, PJ Mullen from Real Men Drive Minivans.  He is full of great ideas and very knowledgeable on the Social Media scene, so it is no wonder that Sweatshirt Blanket picked him up to help promote their brand.  PJ contacted me about doing a review for the company, and who can say no to a snuggly blanket?!?

After selecting the image you would like to appear on your blanket (you can also choose the position of the image), simply upload to the website and select your blanket color.  It’s THAT easy!  My blankets arrived quickly and I could not wait to see how they turned out!

IMG_0631My first impression when taking the blanket out of the box was that it was so soft and had a nice weight to it.  In fact, each blanket is made of heavy weight jersey fabric so it actually feels like your favorite sweatshirt.  After unfolding the blanket, my eye immediately went to my logo.  The image was absolutely perfect!  Next, I was pleasantly surprised by the size (54″ x 84″ to be exact).  I knew my girls and I could easily share the blanket for movie night or it would make an excellent blanket to bring with us to Mardi Gras parades!

Continuing with the review, I washed and dried the blanket to assess quality.  I was pleased to see that the blanket did not shrink and lint balls did not form due to it’s anti-pill finish.  In fact, the blanket got softer and was removed from the drier wrinkle-free!  Finally, placing the blanket on my sofa, the girls and I settled in to watch an “Olivia Goes to the Ballet” DVD and eat some popcorn.

hypothesis

I am completely enamored with my Sweatshirt Blanket!  The softness combined with the size, non-pill fabric and wrinkle resistance makes it ideal for my family.  I love the size of the blanket and for just $19.48 per blanket, you can’t go wrong! It should be noted that due to the personalization option, there is a minimum order of 12 blankets. Imagine what a great fundraiser this could be for your child’s school, sports team, sorority, or favorite charity!
