Now that my two girls are getting older (sniff sniff), I no longer need the cute baby accessories, clothes, shoes and furniture. My house is slowly becoming overridden with things we no longer need. Just before the holidays, my husband and I did go through some of the items and donated unwanted things to Goodwill. But, I set some products aside to sell on Ebay. But you know what? I don’t have time to figure out how to use Ebay and I am not overly thrilled with the fees involved.
Enter MamaExchange.com. This great new website lets you sell your used items for FREE! From the press release:
“We are a couple of moms who created MamaExchange.com because we were tired from scouting ebay and craigslist to find cheaper strollers and push toys and bassinets and all that expensive paraphernalia that our kids needed, or asking endless yahoo mommy boards for nanny or birthday clown recommendations. We loved the idea to have one common space where parents can find anything they needed for their kids locally, from used toys, car seats, breast pumps and books to classes, sitters and photographers. Thus, MamaExchange.com was born.”
The great thing is that this is not an auction site. You can sell your product at the price you want to receive. Your listing can be placed in many categories such as clothes, books, handmade and even FREE. This is a national site, but the listings are sorted by State and Region making it incredibly easy to find products close to you. In just two clicks, I was searching my local area!
MamaExchange not only has product listings, but also local service recommendations such as birthday party entertainment, schools, and Nannies. Take a look at this one stop shop to buy/sell and promote your used products and local businesses!
not sure what is going on or if it’s so new but NOTHING was showing up under any category I clicked on.
