  1. My twin baby boys first Halloween. 🙂 They were 2 months old. We dressed them up as pea pods so they were “Two Peas in a Pod!”. It was so cute! 🙂

    It was ADORABLE… but, ummm…. not recommended… 3 hrs in the tub AFTER all that walking with a cranky 4 yo… well, you get the picture ☺

  4. My school had a carnival and we played all kinds of games. Loved the games and the costume contest. MY grandma and grandpa dressed up and no one including me knew who they were. They would not talk but just kept being funny mimes

  5. I remember my dad taking us trick or treating for HOURS will we could barely stay awake. And than coming home and sorting candy (Chocolate/Non Chocolate etc…) Great memories.

  7. I love Halloween so I have so many great memories – growing up our family and the neighbors family always made a haunted house, it was so much fun and something the whole neighborhood talked about! Our daughters first Halloween we dressed up as the Flintstones is another great memory.

  10. My favorite memory was the Halloween I was 6 years old. I was dressed as Cinderella. My dad had to work at his butcher shop and my mom took me trick or treating. We walked to my dad’s shop to show him my costume and he and all his co-workers made such a big deal over me. I felt like the real Cinderella,

  14. When I was in grade school we used to have a halloween parade. We got to wear our costumes to school and walk on the track while our parents watched from the bleachers, it was always fun. After the parade we had a classroom party.

  18. My favorite Halloween memory was winning a absolutely huge Hershey’s bar in a Halloween Costume contest. My mother made me a beautiful homemade Raggedy Ann costume.

  21. My daughter’s first Halloween. I dressed her up a a bat. She was so cute. We just went to my parents and a couple of other friend’s homes but she got tons of candy and it was fun.

  22. My favorite Halloween memory is my son’s first Halloween and taking him trick-or-treating as a family! It was so awesome and we now take him every year and we go as a family and usually dress up!

  29. My favorite Halloween memory was one year after my parents had just bought a new house – I guess I was around 7/8 years old – they put a Haunted House in our attic and it was so fun! They later converted it to their master bedroom so we only had that one time and man, I miss that!

  30. My favorite Halloween memory is having a birthday party with a Halloween theme. Everyone dressed up and we bobbed for apples, had a spooky mystery thing were you were blindfolded and then had to put you hand in a bowl of eyeballs (peeled grapes), intestines (cooked spaghetti), etc… LOVED it.

  31. Favorite halloween memory is actually a recent one. We set out candy for the kids that came by and loaded jello shots for the parents. We had a really popular house that year.

  33. I don’t know if it’s my favorite. But my father and his brother thought is was the funniest thing. each year as I would visit their home to trick or treat. All 3 of them would give me a rock…aka charlie brown Halloween.
    Three grown men laughing so hard they can hardly breath and me standing there stairing at them as if they had lost their minds.

  36. My favorite halloween memory is probably participating in The Flaming Lips March of a Thousand Skeletons at our local Halloween parade. It’s exactly what it sounds like, and it was soo much fun!

  39. Favorite memory is being dressed as Raggedy Ann myself as a mom and chasing after the kid who took the entire pumpkin full of candy that I left out for trick or treaters as I took my own 3 children trick or treating.

  40. One Halloween in Korea, my sister, friends, and I (I was five or six then) went up to the rec. center on base for a haunted house. I was sent in with my friend, who was freaking out in every room we went, and I was just too focused on getting the candy from each room to be scared. LoL. I guess it helped that I watched a lot of horror movies at that age. But don’t send me into one *now* because I will cling to anyone near me. xD

  48. Halloween is our favorite time of year!!! Taking the kids to Crossroads Village in Michigan is our yearly thing and plus look at all the candy you get!!!

  50. i remember trick or treating for the last time in high school. we covered 3 miles of houses and had enough candy to last 5 years! we were terrible but had a blast.

  52. It was when I made myself into a box of popcorn one year! It just cut holes in a big box, painted it red and white stripes, then glued popcorn the the top. It was awesome! And I got tons of compliments on it!

I remember when I was very young around 5 or so, I was dressed up as Rainbow Brite and we went to a house and the people answered the door.. the guy had bite marks in his neck and the girl behind him was dressed up as a vampire.. it was very real and I believe in vampires for years after ..   58. We never did anything for Halloween when I was a kid because our nearest neighbor was a mile away, so my favorite memory is when I went off to college and I had my very first trick-or-treater ring my doorbell! It was so cool 🙂

  60. I’d have to say that my fav memory is trick or treating in my neighborhood as a child.
    Our next door neighbors always made special homemade treats just for me and my sister. Taffy apples, popcorn balls, cookies to name a few. It was always a great day!

  65. My favorite halloween memories are from going trick or treating as a kid and getting so excited to go home and look through all of the candy we had gotten and trading candy.

  66. We had gone several hours away to help my gramma out with mom and came home very late Halloween afternoon- when we got home we found my dad had taught himself the basics of mom’s sewing machine and made costumes for my brother, sister and I.

  67. My favorite memory is the year that I made my son a car from a cardboard box as a costume. The neighborhood talked about that costume for years.

  68. Dressing up as a hobo for 3 years straight when I was kid. It was the easiest outfir for my mom to put together!

My favorite Halloween memory was a couple years ago, I took the kids out and my youngest which was 3 at time was having a blast up until she seen a little boy who looked scary to her and oh my goodness I never seen her run so fast in my life. I had to carry her the rest of the way, she was done trick or treating that night. She is 5 now so when I told her about what had happened she just laughs her little butt off, its so cute.

  70. I remember when we had to use pillowcases for bags because we got so much we kept tearing the bags and pumpkin buckets. We in some cases had to bring at least 3 pillow cases because the got filled fast.We had enough candy to carry us through Christmas! lol

  73. I can remember going trick-or-treating when I was little,that I would get so much Candy! I was from a family of 7 kids,so after we got home,we would dump out our Candy and trade with each other,to get our favorites! It was so much fun!

  74. I remember making my son The Purple Pie Man from Strawberry Shortcake and my niece was Stawberry Short Cake. They were so cute he was 3 and she was 1. I have that picture hanging in my house today and thier kids love to look at it.

  76. My favorite Halloween memory was when I was in elementary school we were allowed to wear our costumes to school.. My mom made me a Raggedy Ann costume. I was called to the front office and sent in to see the principal. Of course, I thought I was in trouble, but really she just wanted to see my costume because Raggedy Ann was her favorite!

My favorite Halloween memory is getting all excited for Halloween,getting my costume on and my trick or treat bag and literally running from house to house with my brothers in tow.Falling in the ditches and getting back up and running to the next house.One house we went to scared me to death because it had a sound with a witch laughing and lights blinking on and off.Then the lady that came to the door was dressed up as a witch.I was shaking so bad my knees were knocking.I barely said thank you and high tailed it out of there.The next Halloween we skipped that house.
