Hubby and I have been trying to watch what we eat lately. One of the downfalls of dieting for us is the temptation to eat out for lunch while we are away from home. In an effort to resist the draw of headed to the nearest restaurant, my hubby has been taking his lunch with him to work everyday. While we has been quite successful in his weight loss, the number of plastic containers we are washing on a weekly basis is out of control!
Nothing is more frustrating when trying to pack a lunch on a time crunch is missing the much needed lid. Trying to navigate our container drawer can be incredibly frustrating as it never stays organized. I have often wished that there was a way to make sure that the lids stay with their matching containers so I was thrilled when Mr. Lid sent me a few products to try.
Containers with attached lids that NEVER got lost?!? Yes, please! Mr. Lid has a patented attached lid design with a SealSafe hinge to keep your food fresh. The lid closes securely to create a seal and drop proof container (which is create for kids). Mr. Lid containers are 100% made in America, BPA free and mircowave/dish washer safe.
We have been using the containers for the past two weeks to not only take lunch to work, but pack lunch for the kids and even store our new Guinea Pig’s food pellets. I absolutely love that the lid is attached as it makes the morning rush so much easier. When my hubby gets home, he simply pops his containers in the dishwasher and they will be ready for the next day with minimal effort. I also love that the containers are stackable which saves so much space in our cabinet!
Right now, you can get a 20 piece set of Mr. Lid containers for just $19.95 plus shipping and handling (an $80 value!). This would be the perfect holiday gift for any Mom or young professional leaving home. Check it out and save time searching for lids!

I would store dinner leftovers for my husband to take to work.
I usually make extra dinner so that I have some lunch for the next day. I’m not the most organized in the morning, so I like to be able to grab some things out of the fridge, put them in my lunch bag and go. This would be perfect!
