If there’s one thing I learned from going to Graduate School, it’s that I am good under pressure. I always seemed to do my best work when a looming deadline was dangerously close. While procrastination may not be my best quality, I have certainly learned to deal with it and even conquer it which comes in handy during the holiday season.
Each year, the holiday season seems to start earlier and earlier with the first signs of Santa appearing even before the Jack-o-Lanterns have been blown out. I find this trend disturbing and have started to rebel against the new normal by putting off my holiday shopping until after Thanksgiving. While I may feel validated, my procrastination causes much headache as I navigate crowded malls and never-ending lines.
The solution? Online shopping! No lines, no crazed shoppers, no hectic parking lots. One of my online destinations is Lands’ End. I have been a loyal customer for many years now purchasing items for myself, my hubby and both my daughters. In fact, Land’s End is my Procrastination Destination!
