6. We celebrate our Earth Day by clearing the yard and taking care of our trees. With spring cleaning in the house we recycle unwanted items by offering them on Freecycle and donating.

15. I am ridding my house of excess clutter and donating the goods to a homeless shelter. I recycle just about everything, compost and re-use as much as I can year round! Thanks for the great giveaway 🙂

So, we went and purchased a couple of hanging flower baskets-and are using them outside under we can hang them from the front porch. We also purchased some vegetable seeds and flower seeds today as well.

60. We buy local first whenever we can possibly do so, and we live in a green apartment building. We don’t own a car (by choice) so I think we are doing pretty good. My big switch this year was starting to clean with vinegar only. You can even clean your oven with it!! We don’t really do anything different on Earth Day though.
