Why We Love the Bubula Steel Diaper Pail

This post was written by Linzy of Crawfish Tales. While a product was received to facilitate this review, all opinions remain 100% honest.

Since it has been four years since I had my first baby, there have been two changes in my baby gear status. One, it either didn’t survive the first child or two, there have been revolutionary changes to make a product better than the one that I had.

One instance in this situation is the diaper pail. With the first child I had a popular brand that existed on the market. At the time it was innovative and did the job. However I never had the trash bag refills stocked when I needed them. And the refills were just another niche baby expense.

With baby number two, thankfully there have been advances in the diaper pail. Now there is a product on the market that takes standard trash bags! Hallelujah!

The Bubula Stainless Steel Diaper Pail is the answer. In my opinion, here are the best features:

  • The Bubula Steel Diaper Pail is made of steel and aluminum construction, so it does not absorb odors like plastic pails.
  • An air-tight lid prevents odors, while strong and flexible rubber seals prevent leaks and keep odors locked in.
  • Bubula’s larger container size holds 50% more diapers than other leading brands, which extends bag life.
  • You can pick from 7 colors to coordinate with your style and nursery design.
  • The Bubula Diaper Pail is super sturdy. Because of its design, it is not top heavy like some competitors which is great as baby becomes more mobile.

And, did I mention that you can use regular trash bags? So that means no special line items for custom trash bag refills on the Target list.

I wish this one was foot peddle operated like other versions but I am happy to trade that for the list of features that make this diaper pail far more innovative.

If you are like me, before I had a child I wasn’t quite sure what you needed a diaper pail for. Why didn’t you just throw it in the regular trash can? Well a couple of weeks in to baby number one, I learned that the hard way. You need something right at the end of the changing table to toss and go. You have a baby on your hands, that now needs to be washed and you don’t need to be parading a disgusting diaper around the house. Plus, if you throw a dirty diaper in a regular trash can, the smell will haunt you. Maybe not at first….but once they eat baby food, it is downhill from there.
