As a Mom of two daughters, a wife, a full time lab tech, dance teacher and owner of a product review blog, things can get a little hectic around here….ok, a lot hectic. I try to make things as easy on myself as possible which includes cutting down on the housework. On many occasions, we buy paper plates, paper cups and plastic cutlery at the grocery store to minimize the clean up after dinner so I have more time to spend with my kids. However, I realize that buying paper products isn’t the most economical or eco-friendly solution.

I’d like to try these because the cheapy plates I bought for lunches are not strong at all, so I can’t use them in the microwave (and I prefer not to microwave foods in plastic containers). Both problems solved here!

We go through a lot of paper plates in the summer since we camp a lot. And since we use about $200 in fuel, and god knows how many emissions we throw out there, traveling for camping, the least I can do is be more ecofriendly with my paper plates!
