Because both my husband and I work full time outside the home, we tend to eat out more than I care to admit. Once we arrive home, we value the time we have together and try to spend quality time with our two daughters before the bedtime routine must begin. Neither one of us wants to stop playing “princess” or “tea party” to make a lavish dinner.
Walking the grocery aisles, I tend to reach for frozen dinners to serve on hectic nights. But which one to choose? I don’t want to waste money on a convenient meal that is inedible! Thanks to Mom Central, I was able to try out Banquet’s Frozen meals. A little about the brand:
“The Banquet brand began in 1953 with the introduction of frozen meat pies. Banquet frozen dinners first hit store shelves in 1955. The ’70s brought several different fried chicken offerings. Most recently, Banquet launched Homestyle Bakes and Dessert Bakes, and the brand revolutionized convenient, family-style cooking with the introduction of Banquet Crock-Pot Classics in 2004.”
My husband and I chose to try Banquet’s Frozen Lasagna. It was very easy (just pop it in the microwave…no thaw necessary…for about 15 minutes) to make and fed my family of four with no problem. Next time, I think I will try to Banquet Popcorn Chicken or maybe the Chicken Enchiladas!
Right now, Banquet is giving back with their “Thanks a Million” campaign! They will be giving away 16,000 cash prizes totaling over $1 million to their loyal customers. From February-April, look for specially marked single-serve Banquet dinner meals to see if you are an Instant Winner!
Yep, I’m going to be buying some of these Banquet meals this week. Who knows maybe I’ll be one of the winners. Hey I can hope.
My hubby eats a banquet nearly every day for lunch at work. We haven’t won anything 🙁 We will have to keep hoping we will get a winner. Walmart sometimes runs a sale on banquet meals and it’s such a great deal!
