I have a love/hate relationship with sandwiches. Love them because they are fast and easy, hate them because they can get redundant. At school during the week, I try to find things that are different a few days a week so I don’t get burned out, but I also need the meal I have to be fuss-free and lightning fast to prepare. When I was offered the chance to review Annie Chun’s soups, I was happy to check them out!
Never heard of Annie Chun’s before? From the website: “Annie Chun’s mission is to take the mystery out of Asian cooking and allow you to easily re-create your favorite Asian dishes right at home. Delicious. Healthy. Convenient.” Annie Chun’s soups are all natural and available in a variety of great flavors: Chinese Chicken Noodle, Hot and Sour, Kimchi, Miso, Thai Tom Yum, Vietnamese Pho, and Udon. I decided to try out the Chicken Noodle first. From start to finish it took me less than three minutes to prepare. I loved the sturdy packaging that goes right from the microwave to the table so there is NO cleanup! Even better! I found the soup to be filling and it had a great blend of flavor and texture. There were lots of veggies in with the noodles and it is definitely something I would buy again!
Over the course of the next few days I was able to sample some more of the soups and so far the Hot and Sour is my favorite. Whenever we get Chinese, I order Hot and Sour and Annie Chun’s Hot and Sour is excellent for when you want make-it-yourself Chinese! Annie Chun’s also offers meal starters for when you want Asian cuisine for your family’s dinner! Need a recipe? Check out the website’s recipes for more info. Want to know how quickly you can find Annie Chun’s? They have a store locator as well and you can sign up for coupons via their newsletter, too. You can also check them out on Twitter and Facebook. Don’t wait for a fortune cookie to tell you, grab some Annie Chun’s next time you’re at the grocery store!
