Have Fun while Learning with Puzzingo Puzzles

This post was written by the Experimental Mommy in partnership with Puzzingo. All opinions are 100% my own.

Both of my daughters absolutely loved toys from Melissa & Doug (ok, I will admit to having fun playing with them, too). But hauling the wooden toys and puzzles out of the house was less than convenient. But now, there is a digital puzzle app inspired by Melissa & Doug called Puzzingo!

As a Mom in today’s digital world, I understand that screen time is inevitable. So when searching for apps for the kids, I prioritize those that are age appropriate, educational, secure and FUN! Fortunately, Puzzingo Puzzles checks all the boxes. The free app help kids develop spatial recognition, matching, tactile, and fine-motor skills plus rewards them with fun mini-games when a challenge is completed. We especially liked the dress-up and the create your own bug mini-games!

Puzzingo Puzzles is available on iOS, Google Play and Amazon and appeals to both boys and girls alike. Hundreds of puzzles are available including core concepts such as shapes, numbers and letters as well as fun topics such as princesses, dinosaurs, bugs, trucks, and fairies to name a few. In fact, there are over 150 puzzles in 22 puzzle packs but our personal favorite was the Little Mermaid puzzle! The colors, animations and illustrations are bright, interesting and professionally drawn.

We also loved that there are seasonal puzzles packs, too. They really got us into the holiday spirit! Another fun feature of the Puzzingo Puzzles is that it can help children learn vocabulary in 5 different languages – English, UK English, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese! My youngest is learning Spanish in school so it was fun to test out her skills.

The app is free to download and does contain several free puzzles. Additional puzzles are available as in-app purchases. Check it out today!
