Hippity Hoppity, Easter’s on it’s way! As my daughters would say, only 5 more “sleeps” under the Easter Bunny hops into our home and fills the empty baskets with yummy treats! Is your Easter Bunny still shopping for basket ideas? Tell him to hop on over to Keep Easter Easy! Both of my daughters’ teachers requested that we send in one dozen plastic eggs, filled with candy of course, for their annual egg hunt this week. Fortunately, Hershey’s has come up with the perfect egg-stuffers as well as the very easy pre-filled eggs! From the press release:
“Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates are the most sought after Hershey treat in Easter egg hunts, followed by Reese’s® Miniatures,Cadbury Mini Eggs Candy, Whoppers Robin Eggs Malted Milk Eggs and Jolly Rancher® Jelly Beans*. Hershey makes the hunt for plastic eggs easier than ever by offering pre-filled eggs complete with an extra special selection of everyone’s favorite Hershey Easter treats. Assortments include:
- NEW – Egg Hunt Favorites Non-Chocolate Filled Egg Assortment with Jolly Rancher® Hard Candy, Twizzlers® Pull ‘N PeelTM Candy, Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans and Jolly Rancher® Fruit Chews
- Easter Favorites Chocolate Filled Egg Assortment with Reese’s Miniatures,Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates, Cadbury Mini Eggs Candy and Whoppers Mini Robin Eggs Malted Milk Eggs”
Hershey’s also sent me a few of their old favorites as well as some new products for my review (who can turn down a chocolate review??). When I opened the box, my hubby spotted the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, one of his absolute favorites, and they disappeared almost instantly (and have you seen the Reester Buuny Peanut Butter Bunny? Oh my!). With him out of the way, I was able to sort through the new items including individual packs of Hershey’s Kisses which are PERFECT for my daughter’s classmates and Cookies ‘n Creme Eggs which were delicious. But my favorite new product was the divine Hershey’s Bliss Bunnies with Meltaway Centers. This box of three would make a great teacher gift!
Looking for a unique centerpiece or a healthy dessert for your Easter celebration, check out Edible Arrangements! This holiday season, they have come up with some yummy arrangements featuring chocolate dipped pineapple bunnies!
Truth be told, I’d be overjoyed if the Easter Bunny stuffed my basket with any of these treats! I hope this post gave you a few ideas for a memorable Easter!
It’s really well done! Respect to author.
