Shabby Apple: Review and Giveaway

hypothesis My Daisy dress from Shabby Apple will not only be beautiful, but will make me feel beautiful when I wear it!

Daisy dress from Shabby Apple in white, new shoes, new purse, and a cocktail party at a local art gallery.  About Shabby Apple:

After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it. They visited trade shows, marketplaces and designer studios only to discover the problem was not that department stores weren’t buying the right dresses, but that designers weren’t designing them.

Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous, without having to compromise anything else. A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything…no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!).”

When I was first asked to review Shabby Apple, I was more than excited because I knew that I absolutely love the style of their dresses.  I was given a few options and decided on the Daisy dress, a white eyelet summer dress with a yellow sash.  When the dress arrived, it was TOTALLY me!  I love the classic, feminine and flirty style of the dress.  The dress was fully lined and well made, although the dress fit more snug than I expected.  The customer service I received when exchanging the dress for a larger size was excellent.  Overall, I love my Shabby Apple dress.  I would definitely purchase from this company.

Shabby Apple offers a wide variety of women’s clothing including dresses, maternity, accessories and their new preteen line.  I fell in love with several garments and cannot wait to try another style!  I also love that the website offers fashion advice such as how to find a fit that flatters and a “Dear Shabby” form to ask those urgent wardrobe questions.

Need a dress for a special occasion?  Shabby Apple has generously donated this “90 Words per Minute” dress, an adorable turquoise secretary dress.

  1. Wow it’s hard to choose but I love the Dot to Dot dress. By the way, you look really nice in that dress, how flattering it is. I would love to see if they look good on a full figured girl like me.

  2. Since I’m pregnant right now, I would like the Back to Business black maternity dress in my closet. Super sexy

  3. I think I would also choose the Daisy dress! It’s beautiful and perfect for warm weather…love the retro vibe of it. The Tuxedo III dress is also super cute.

  5. Such a tough decision…there are so many choices! I believe my favorite is the Ballerina dress.

  6. We have started going back to church and I could use a new dress. I like the Some Like It Hot red dress because I think it would be most flattering for my figure. (Vneck) Thanks.

  9. Oh, how I would love to have the Yorkshire dress in my closet. It would be so cute with some tights and knee-high boots in the winter. I love it!

  10. Wow beautiful dresses!! I love the Dagny Taggart as well as the Lois lane.

    Thanks for the chance

  11. In all honesty I don’t think there’s any dress on the site that I DON’T want in my closet. But if I absolutely had to choose one it would be the beautiful Mediterranean dress. I’m a Mediterranean girl, my Dad’s from that area, and I spent a lot of my childhood there (although now I’m across the pond in New York). So I’d love a dress that reminds me of that place.

  12. I wish I had entered way sooner because I absolutely adore the styles of dresses offered at Shabby Apple, they are just the kind of look I love to wear! So many lovely feminine dresses to choose from and my very favorite is the Ballerina Dress in the rich plum color! I think it is gorgeous! I would find reasons and place to wear it! Thanks so much for the chance to enter.
