Bumbleride Indie Stroller: Review

hypothesis The Bumbleride Indie Stroller will be a great way to maneuver Aubrie around a crowded mall while providing a comfortable and smooth ride on our walks in the local park.

One Bumbleride Indie Stroller in Vita, my 18 month old, and a walk in the park on a sunny day. About Bumbleride:

At Bumbleride, we understand the everyday challenges facing the modern family.  From navigating tight urban spaces to conquering rugged beach terrain, all of our products are inspired by your active lifestyle.  We strive to provide a safe and stylish ride for both you and your little one.

results I was very excited to receive the Bumbleride Indie because I do not own an all terrain stroller, but I have always wondered if the ride really was THAT different.  My answer?  YES!  The air-inflated wheels and rear suspension make the Indie ride incredibly smooth!  Putting the stroller to the test, we went for a walk in our local park and a crowded mall.  The Indie handled both situations beautifully.  A few specifics:

Bumbleride Indie is not your average All-Terrain Stroller. Weighing a slim 20 lbs., Indie combines the off-road ability of a multi-terrain stroller with the lean agility of an urban jogger and features a 360 degree swiveling front wheel with forward and rear facing locking positions. Indie is suitable for newborns and toddlers using a multi-adjustable reclining backrest. Ready to tackle any terrain, Indie comes standard with rear suspension, a height-adjustable handle, large storage basket and removable cup holder.”

I decided it would be best to show you the Bumbleride in action.  In the following video, I (with the help of my hubby!) go over the points we liked the best about the Indie.  Because my daughter is 18 months old, I am focusing on the features best for toddlers, but the Indie is completely adjustable for newborns and accommodates many different infant carriers.

Overall, we really loved the Bumbleride.  The ease of use, maneuverability, and smooth ride had me at Hello!  Bumbleride also offers a complete line of strollers such as the Indie Twin and the Queen B.  Check out the great accessories, too!  The Bumbleride Indie can be purchased directly for $459.99.

  1. Bridgette! Very neat. This video really helped me see all of the features. Leaning back for naptime is awesome. The Indie Twin would work good for us I think. That front rotating wheel looks perfect.

  2. I am so jealous! Not only do you have an adorable and awesome stroller you also have an adorable little girl to fill it with! I would love to own one of these!

  3. Thanks for the video! It really helps to see how it works. Love the 5 pt. harness, the nice size sun shade and the smooth ride. I would LOVE to get this!

  4. This sounds like an awesome stroller. We’ve never had a three wheeled one but we’d love to give this one a try. Thanks for sharing.

  6. i am always envious when i see people pushing these. they seem to move effortlessly. The only thing that keeps me from getting one is the price..its a lot to invest in a stroller.

  7. Thanks for the video. so much most informational than just reading about it. I love the larg cargo pocket!

  8. As a mom to 3 kids, born in the span of 6 1/2 years, we’ve gone through a wide variety of strollers. This stroller looks great! I like that it can be adjusted to suit newborns as well as toddlers.

  9. This is a beautiful stroller! I love that the front wheel swivels. Awesome!

  11. This stroller looks awesome, any way I look at it. It’s an all-terrain jogging stroller with 5-point harness AND looks super comfy. What more could one ask for? I’d LOVE to own one. mmmm, Christmas is in sight…. =)

  12. This looks amazing and I appreciate your honest review of the product. I have two little chitlins and it SURE would be nice to have a double stroller made by Bumbleride!

  13. Wonderful video. Love all the features especially the lock features of the tires both front and back. And you can tell how lightweight this stroller is. That’s perfect for those mommy’s who have a hard time lifting heavy items. Plus it would make it easy to lift for two people if your child was still in it. Like up and down stairs if need be. I also love the vibrant bright colors that this stroller comes in. Thanks for the great post.

  14. I love the look of this stroller! It looks so “hip”. 🙂 Thanks for the video. It really helps to see real people using products to get a good idea of how they work.

  15. Great review! I love the video, very detailed. Finding the right stroller can be tough, you have made a lot of people’s decisions a lot easier!

  16. Wow, the video really crystallized all the fine points I was interested in, and your baby, well, she’s adorable! I love the light weight of the stroller.

  17. GREAT review! The website is a bit vague on how it folds- I appreciated seeing that. (trunk space is a concern of mine)

  18. Thanks for such a great review–I really liked the video as it helps seeing a real person use a stroller!

  19. Adorable passenger! I am looking forward to losing my baby weight by walking my youngest as my toddler rides on his new bike. This would be perfect and so stylish! Also would go well with my 10K run goal! Thanks for the review.

  20. This giveaway is just what I’ve been looking for! My husband and I are thinking of adding one more to our brood. Unfortunately we had to throw away our stroller used with our other kids, and this was the kind we were looking for. Plus it’s cooler looking than what we used to have! 🙂 If I won, it would be fantastic! (plus it would save us some $$) Thanks for having such a fabulous giveaway!

  21. Great review! Your little girl is such a cutie pie!
My boys would really benefit from a stroller like this one. So stylish! I also really like the idea of having a height adjustable handle because I am only 4′ 11″ 🙂

  22. Thanks for the video, it showed me how the brake works in the back, as well as all of the other features. It kind of reminds me of the flight attendant on planes showing when they go through all of the safety rules, LOL. It makes it so much easier to follow a product review with there’s a visual. Excellent review. I hope to win the Bumbleride Indie!

  23. Thanks for the review! The thing I like about it, is that it is all terrain, and still cute enough to go shopping with!

  24. Thank you so much for the review! I’ve been using different strollers and I must say this one will last even up to my 3rd child! haha! Hoping a cheaper one will come out.. 🙂

  25. We just moved to a lot colder climate. It looks like I’m going to need to get one of these to restart my 1/2 marathon training. Since it looks so durable it’s going to be a lot cheaper than a gym membership.
    thanks for the great review

  26. Love this stroller! I really like all of the features like the simple recline, that it is compatible with infant carriers, and the storage basket! Would love to win this one!!

  27. I would LOVE to have this stroller! I’m petite and the travel system i have now is to heavy! My daughter is 7months old and were looking for a new stroller! I also like how the front wheel locks so you can go jogging.

  28. I have loved this stroller since the day I saw it!! I begged my husband for the double indie when our second baby was on her way BUT sadly he thought it too expensive!! haha Now that the girls are a bit older and we don’t need the double, this single looks amazing!! Maybe I can get him to change his mind if he reads your post!! Fingers crossed…but I’m not holding my breath. Thanks for the info!!

  29. This looks like an amazing stroller. I am a very active person and this is exactly what I have been looking for.
