As my kids get older, their Christmas wish list gets longer and more expensive! One of my daughters is enrolled in the first grade and I am continually amazed by her proficiency on the computer. I know before too long, it will be time to get her own personal PC.
Are you shopping for a PC this year? As a Microsoft Champion, I am privvy to some of the newest technology, announcements, experts and sales. The best part? I get to share it all with you!
If you are not willing to hit the stores during this crazy shopping week, check out the Microsoft store online for some amazing deals. One of the biggest values is the Samsung RC512; normally priced $799 on sale for $499. Microsoft Stores on Facebook will also announce flash PC deals on Cyber Monday, too!
If it’s a student that’s on your shopping list, check out the Sony VAIO SA. At only 3.6 pounds and a thin one inch profile, this laptop is ideal for hauling around campus. And with the 7 hours of standard battery life, this computer will get your scholar through the most demanding study session. Did I mention there is a built in HD webcam, too? Perfect for those homesick days and getting a virtual hug from Mom!
If you are already sporting a PC equipped with Windows 7, you have got to look into Arc Touch Mouse. I recently received one as part of the Windows Champion program and I am having a blast learning all of it’s features. The mouse is wireless and has nice shape and weight to it making it super easy to control. You can power on/off through BlueTrack technology as well. By learning key finger strokes on the mouse, you can control your desktop in a variety of ways. Minimize your windows by using a three finger sweeping motion down or use just your thumb to return to your previous webpage. Once I get the hang of the motions, I think this mouse will make Windows 7 even more functional. The Microsoft Touch Mouse can be purchased for $79.95.
What’s on your techy wish list?
